PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer support apparatus that can be moved closer to a transfer destination, even when an obstacle is present.SOLUTION: A transfer support apparatus 1 in which an arm 3 is supported by a frame 2, supports a transfer of a care-receiver, with the care-receiver held in a holding device 4 provided in the arm 3. The frame 2 includes a first extension part 2b and a second extension part 2c that extend from a frame body part 2a for supporting the arm 3, towards the holding device 4 side.
