PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter having a slit valve easily opened to the outside and an inside lumen direction, enabling the stable opening/closing operation and capable of favorably collecting blood.SOLUTION: The catheter with a slit valve includes a flexible tube body 3, the axial lumen 2 of which is formed into a circular cross section. A distal end of the tube body is formed with a slit 7 lengthwise from a part prescribed length apart from a distal opening, and, when injecting medical solution, the slit 7 is served as a slit valve opened by injection pressure for releasing the medical solution. The tube body 3 is opened at the distal end, a shaping member 5 is inserted from the distal end opening into the axial lumen 2 to close the distal end opening. The axial lumen 2 at the distal end is forcibly deformed into a non-circular cross section so that, even when not injecting the chemical solution, a part of the slit inside the axial lumen is opened to reduce a contact surface of a surface 8 and a surface 9 facing each other.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 スリット弁が、外側にも内側の内腔方向にも開き易く、その安定した開閉作動が可能で、血液の採取も良好に行えるカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】 軸方向内腔2が断面円形に形成された可撓性のチューブ本体3を有し、該チューブ本体の先端部分にスリット7を先端開口から所定長さを置いた位置から長軸方向に形成し、このスリット7を薬液注入時に注入圧力で開いて薬液を放出するスリット弁としたスリット弁付きカテーテルである。チューブ本体3は先端開口しており、この先端開口から軸方向内腔2に形付け部材5を挿入して先端開口を閉止するとともに、先端部分の軸方向内腔2を強制的に断面非円形に変形させることにより、薬液非注入時でもスリット7の軸方向内腔のある内側の一部を開いて対向する面8と面9の接地面を少なくした。【選択図】 図6
