PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine harvester capable of improving separating properties of grains, such as, miscellaneous grain crops from culms.SOLUTION: A threshing and separating apparatus includes a threshing part for threshing grain culms, and a separating part for separating grains threshed in the threshing part. In the threshing and separating apparatus, a separating net for roughly separating the grains from cut grain culms is arranged in the upper part of the separating part. Accordingly, multi-stage separation is provided in the separating part and separation properties for removing the cut grain culms, and the like, can be improved. That is, rough separation of large waste straws, or the like, and the cut grain culms from threshed materials is carried out in the upper part of the separating part. Fine separation of the grains from small waste straws, or the like, is then performed in the separating part.
