PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apron jump-up auxiliary mechanism preventing a gas spring from being damaged during work and having a high degree of freedom of an attachment position of the gas spring, and to provide a tilling work machine with the apron jump-up auxiliary mechanism.SOLUTION: An apron jump-up auxiliary mechanism 40 includes: a support plate 41 arranged on a shield cover 22 covering a work rotor of a tilling work machine 1 and extending in a front/rear direction a gas spring 50 including a front side supported by the support plate 41 so as to be movable in the front/rear direction and a rear side connected to the support plate 41 so as to be rotatable a link arm member 60 including a front side supported by the support plate 41 so as to be movable in the front/rear direction together with the gas spring 50 and extending to a rear side a link plate 70 rotatable in the front/rear direction with a support shaft arranged in the support plate 41 as a center and an apron side connection member 75 including an upper side connected to the link plate 70 rotatably and a lower side connected to an apron 25 arranged rotatably on a rear edge of the shield cover 22.
