An improved spinal fusion washer according to an embodiment of the present invention provides a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) into a vertebra by being installed in the fused part of the vertebra while having a spinal fusion surgery. The present invention comprises a first washer member forming a first opening in the center by having a diameter gradually reduced from one side to the other side, having a shape protruded toward the outside at the end, located in the vertebra of a fused part in the other side； a second washer member forming a second opening in the center by having the diameter gradually reduced from one side to the other side, having a shape protruded toward the outside at the end, located so that the other side is adjacent to one side of the first washer member； a BMP impregnant formed by impregnating the BMP, providing the impregnated BMP to the vertebra of a fused part with the lapse of time, located in between the first washer and the second washer； a pedicle screw combined and screwed in the spine by penetrating the second washer member, BMP impregnant and the first washer member, and forming a thread of a screw in the outer periphery.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 개량형 척추골 유합 와셔는 척추골 유합 수술시, 유합되는 부분에서 척추골에 설치되어 척추골로 골형성 촉진 단백질을 제공하는 것으로서, 중앙에 마련된 제 1 개구가 일측에서 타측 방향으로 갈수록 점차 직경이 작아지고, 일측끝단이 외측을 향해 돌출된 형상을 가지고, 타측이 유합되는 부분의 척추골에 위치되는 제 1 와셔부재； 중앙에 마련된 제 2 개구가 일측에서 타측 방향으로 갈수록 점차 직경이 작아지고, 일측끝단이 외측을 향해 돌출된 형상을 가지고, 타측이 제 1 와셔부재의 일측에 인접하게 위치되는 제 2 와셔부재； 골형성 촉진 단백질(bone morphogenetic protein； BMP)이 함침되어 형성되고, 제 1 와셔부재와 제 2 와셔부재 사이에 위치되며, 시간의 경과에 따라 함침된 골형성 촉진 단백질이 유합된 부분의 척추골로 제공되는 BMP함침체； 및 외주면에 나사산이 형성되고, 제 2 와셔부재, BMP함침체와 제 1 와셔부재를 순차적으로 관통하여 척추골에 나사결합되는 척추경 나사를 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
