The embolic material and the piezoelectric material are mixed together. The mixture can be delivered to a tumor or other subject by non-invasive methods. The embolic material prevents migration of the piezoelectric material from the target location. The impulse subsequently applied to the target location removes the peripheral region due to the piezoelectric effect of the particles, thus facilitating a precise and accurate removal without the need for a more invasive procedure.
