The present invention relates to an adjuvant, which is a layered double hydroxide and is obtained from a compound represented by general formula (I) in the Specification. Because the layered double hydroxides in the present invention are conjugates with an inorganic ion selected from light metals, it is thought that adverse reactions of a living body when an immune composition comprising an adjuvant according to the present invention is administered to the living body will be minimal. Because there are countless combinations of divalent cations, trivalent cations and anions in layered double hydroxides, it is possible to manufacture a layered double hydroxide suited to the use thereof.La présente invention concerne un adjuvant, qui est un hydroxyde double lamellaire et qui est obtenu à partir d'un composé représenté par la formule générale (I) dans la description. Etant donné que les hydroxydes doubles lamellaires de la présente invention sont des conjugués avec un ion inorganique sélectionné parmi les métaux légers, on estime que les réactions indésirables d'un corps vivant seront minimales lors de l'administration au dit corps vivant d'une composition immunitaire comprenant un adjuvant selon la présente invention. Étant donné qu'il existe un nombre infini de combinaisons de cations divalents, de cations trivalents et d'anions dans les hydroxydes doubles lamellaires, il est possible de fabriquer un hydroxyde double lamellaire approprié pour son utilisation.本発明は、層状複水酸化物であって、明細書中において一般式（Ｉ）で示す化合物からなるアジュバントに関する。本発明における層状複水酸化物は軽金属を選択した無機イオン結合体であるため、本発明のアジュバントを含む免疫組成物を生体に投与する場合には、生体への副作用は低いと考えられる。層状複水酸化物において、２価陽イオン、３価陽イオン、陰イオンの組み合わせは無数に存在するので用途に応じた層状複水酸化物の作製が可能である。
