PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a mulch film for cultivating tabacco maintaining a soil temperature increasing effect, securing moderate moisture for plant roots, promoting generation and growth of adventitious roots, and making the tabacco continue to well grow even in the latter half of its growth stage. SOLUTION: This mulch film for cultivating tabacco is provided with transparent areas 2, 2 at both sides of a colored initial vegetation area 1 extending in the length direction of the film corresponding to the initial vegetation portion of a cultivated plant 3.
