The orthosis comprises a sole (1) on which are fixed shaped elements: heelpieces (upper (2) lower5), heel ring (3), inner hemicyloid (4). It is covered with neoprene fabric. The podological orthosis modifies the natural course coordinating the actions of the constituent elements (bones, ligaments, muscles) of the foot: during the static deformation it reduces the crushing and the excessive elongation of the arches, during the dynamic deformation, it avoids the excessive and painful contraction of the plantar tendons. This permanent conditioning of the foot positions diverts the points of application of the tendons and muscle bundles to areas less vulnerable to the occurrence of the inflammatory phenomenon due to the appearance and growth of the calcaneal spine. These purely mechanical aspects are completed by the impregnation of the neoprene coating with an anti-inflammatory whose effects, of a therapeutic nature, gives it a biactive character. Ce conditionnement permanent des positions du pied détourne les points d'application des tendeurs et faisceaux musculaires vers des zones moins vulnérables à la survenue du phénomène inflammatoire cause de l'apparition puis de la pousse de l'épine calcanéenne. Ces aspects purement mécaniques sont complétés par l'imprégnation du revêtement néoprène par un anti-inflammatoire dont les effets, de nature thérapeutique, lui confère un caractère biactif.
