An image analyzing unit(120) analyzes a specific area corresponding to an abnormal tissue in a local region and a reference region corresponding to a normal tissue in the local region. An emphasis image generating unit(130) generates a tissue emphasis image which emphasizes an area of a pixel location of a first radiation image mapped on the specific area. A reference region estimating unit estimates the location of the reference region based on the distribution of pixels mapped on the mapping image. A tissue feature estimating unit estimates the kind of the specific tissue based on the shape and location of the analyzed specific region.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012영상처리장치는 다중 에너지 대역들의 방사선 영상들을 이용하여 매핑 영상을 생성하고, 생성된 매핑 영상에 기초하여 정상 조직 및 비정상 조직에 대응되는 영역들을 분석하고, 분석 결과에 따라 비정상 조직이 강조된 조직 강조 영상을 생성한다.
