PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set of arcuate rods and a set of S-shaped rods used for the purpose of obtaining anatomically normal spinal alignment in spinal deformity fixation.SOLUTION: A set of arcuate rods have the same arcuate curve and the same rod length. The arcuate rod has a configuration of a shape along the thoracic kyphosis of an anatomically normal spinal alignment with a curved section 101 and a straight section 102 attached to the thoracic kyphosis, or a configuration of a shape along the thoracic kyphosis of an anatomically normal spinal alignment with a curved section and an opposite-side curved section attached to the thoracic kyphosis. The arcuate rod is used for the treatment of scoliosis by spinal deformity fixation, has a rod length depending on the length of the patient's spine, and has a configuration that guides the apex vertebra of the thoracic kyphosis after surgery to the thoracic vertebra and guides the apex vertebra of the thoracic kyphosis after surgery to a position different from the position where the apex vertebra of spine side had being before the surgery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1ACOPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】脊柱変形矯正固定術において、解剖学的に正常な脊柱配列を獲得する目的に使用する一組の弓状ロッドおよび一組のS字状ロッドを提供する。【解決手段】一組の弓状ロッドは、同一の弓状のカーブおよび同一のロッド長を有する。弓状ロッドは、解剖学的に正常な脊柱配列の胸椎後弯に沿う形状であって、胸椎後弯に取り付けられる弯曲部101および直線部102、または解剖学的に正常な脊柱配列の胸椎後弯に沿う形状であって、胸椎後弯に取り付けられる弯曲部および逆そり部を有する。弓状ロッドは、脊柱変形矯正固定術による脊柱側弯症の治療に用いられ、患者の脊柱の長さに応じたロッド長を有し、手術後の胸椎後弯の頂椎を胸椎に誘導し、且つ手術後の胸椎後弯の頂椎を手術前の脊椎側弯の頂椎と異なる位置に誘導する形状を有する。【選択図】図1A
