PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic photographing apparatus which can acquire the tomographic image of a fundus and an anterior eye segment, where the ophthalmic photographing apparatus suitably photographs the tomographic image of the anterior eye segment.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmic photographing apparatus includes: an optical interference optical system for receiving interference light caused by a measurement light flux and a reference light flux by a light receiving element and an optical path length varying member to be moved in an optical axis direction by a first driving part in order to adjust an optical-path difference between the measurement light flux and the reference light flux, and the ophthalmic photographing apparatus can photograph the tomographic images of the fundus and anterior segment of an eye to be examined on the basis of the output signals of the light receiving element. The ophthalmic photographing apparatus further includes: a mode switching means for generating a mode switching signal for switching from a fundus photographing mode for photographing the tomographic image of the fundus of the eye to be examined to an anterior eye segment photographing mode for photographing the tomographic image of the anterior segment of the eye to be examined and a drive control means which, when photographing is performed in the anterior eye segment photographing mode, controls the drive of the first drive part on the basis of drive command signals and locates the optical path length varying member at a predetermined position corresponding to the anterior eye segment tomographic image photographing mode.
