The present invention is an external preparation for the skin, which is characterized by containing (A) silver-supporting antibacterial tricalcium phosphate and (B) a polypropylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 700-4,000, a copolymer of a polypropylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 700-4,000 and a polybutylene glycol, or a derivative of a polypropylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 700-4,000. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an external preparation for the skin, which contains a silver-supporting antibacterial tricalcium phosphate powder and is prevented from giving a powdery look caused by the silver-supporting antibacterial tricalcium phosphate powder.本發明係一種皮膚外用劑，含有：(A)擔載有銀之抗菌性磷酸三鈣，及(B)數量平均分子量為700~4000之聚丙二醇、數量平均分子量為700~4000之聚丙二醇與聚丁二醇之共聚物、或數量平均分子量為700~4000之聚丙二醇之衍生物中的任一者。本發明之目的在於提供一種調配有擔載有銀之抗菌性磷酸三鈣粉末，且防止擔載有銀之抗菌性磷酸三鈣粉末引起之泛白的皮膚外用劑。
