PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting bunch or fruits with facilitated protecting operation of the bunch or fruits, certainly protecting the bunch or fruits from bird injury, etc., and to provide a protecting net which can be used repeatedly.SOLUTION: The bunch or fruits 15 arranged in a row shape are protected from bird injury by tubularly covering with the protecting net 1 along the row. Practically, one side L1, one of the countering two sides L1, L2 of the protecting net 1, is hanged on a supporting body such as a shelf etc., supporting the bunch or fruits in a row shape with shelf surface hooks 5, and hanging the other side L2 of the protecting net 1 is lifted up so as to cover the bunch or the fruits and tubularly formed in a row to have openings on both ends set to arrange the bunch or fruits 15 in a row in the tube, and two sides of the tubular protecting net 1 clamping cob 15a of bunch located in a line are joined by hook-and-loop fastener 3.
