The beam splitter is erected and arranged so that the angle &theta formed by the optical axis of the concave mirror and the normal direction of the reflection surface of the beam splitter is smaller than 45 degrees. A visual target plate is arranged above or below the concave mirror, the vertical dimension Y of the concave mirror is set so that the target visual luminous flux is not vignetted even when the eye to be examined is vertically varied, the vertical outer diameter center of the concave mirror is turned to an eccentric shape, and the angle &theta for making the total of the dimensions of the front and back of the beam splitter and the front and back of the concave mirror be smaller than the dimension Y is set.
