The present invention relates to beverages, such as tea, coffee, which can be diluted with liquid for drinking, and more specifically, to pill type beverages. Powder type beverages have risk of being spilt during handling due to a powder type, and have a limitation in portability and in convenience of use due to a large volume of a storage container. According to the present invention, pill type beverages comprise conventional beverages in powder or granule type, and an external protection cover to solve the limitation of the storage container and the risk of being spilt during handling by embodying a water-soluble protection cover. The external protection cover surrounding the powder type beverages is soluble to liquid, and thereby the powder type beverages are spread out to be dissolved in the liquid.
