A feeding bottle for babies 300 with a dome shaped teat 10 comprising: a nipple 12, with fluid flow pathway; a reinforcing rib, preferably on an inner wall, to maintain the shape of the teat; and a skirt at a base of the teat to provide a seal surface with a container, using a cap and optionally a retaining ring to secure the teat to the container. The teat maybe asymmetric in one cross section, with one side more convex than the other and the sides having different flexibilities. There may be textured regions on the teat. The container has at least two openable chambers [70, figure 9b], preferably with a displaceable portion for opening and closing one or more chambers which may be controlled with tab 74. There may be a barrier to prevent or allow different foodstuffs entering the teat or to mix with each other. The container may be adapted to receive or stack with a second container. Additional features include a pressure-tight lid, vent, heating means and/or temperature indicator.
