The present invention relates to a combined imaging apparatus including heterogeneous image devices, and a method for controlling the same. The combined imaging apparatus includes an optoacoustic image part which emits an energy beam to a target part and an ultrasonic wave image part which generates ultrasonic waves, emits it to the target part, collects an echo ultrasonic wave reflected from the emitted target part or collects the ultrasonic waves generated in the target part according to the energy beam irradiation of the optoacoustic image part. The operation condition of the ultrasonic wave image is determined according to the operation condition of the optoacoustic image part.
