PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractive light source protecting cover reusable after changing the attractive light source, protecting damage of the attractive light source from an outside shock and having a high attracting effect, and to provide lighting apparatus provided with the same.SOLUTION: The invention relates to the lighting apparatus 1 comprising an attracting light source 2 emitting a spectrum approaching to the attracting spectrum of insects, a covering member 4 formed by a material effectively transmitting the emission spectrum, a cover holding member 5 detachably fixing the cover member 4 on a position with a predetermined space from the attracting light source 2, and an attracting light source protecting cover 3 having a light source housing part 6 which houses the attracting light source 2 in a sealed state.
