Die Anmeldung betrifft eine Lanzette, die an einem vorderen Ende eine Lanzettenspitze hat und an einer Oberseite eine Anlagefläche (1a) zum Anlegen eines Testelements (5) sowie wenigstens einen Kanal (3) zur Probenaufnahme aufweist, wobei ein nach oben offener Abschnitt des Kanals (3) in der Anlagefläche (1a) verläuft. Anmeldungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass der Kanal (3) einen weiteren nach oben offenen Kanalabschnitt aufweist, der an der Oberseite der Lanzette in einer oder angrenzend an eine Fläche verläuft, die tiefer liegt als die Anlagefläche (1a), wobei die Anlagefläche (1a) zwischen der Lanzettenspitze und der tiefer liegenden Fläche angeordnet ist. Die Anmeldung betrifft ferner ein System mit einer solchen Lanzette und einem Testelement sowie ein Verfahren zum Übertragen einer Flüssigkeitsprobe aus einem als Rinne oder Schlitz ausgebildeten Kanal (3) einer Lanzette (1) auf ein Testelement (5).The lancet (1) has a channel (3) receiving samples, where an upwardly opened channel section of the channel extends in a bearing surface.
