The tunnel has a set of flexible plastic bars (2), which are anchored by anchoring units (3) at the left and right sides of a patch (4). The length of each bar is larger than the width of the patch and the anchoring units such that the end regions of the bar are held straight. The bars exhibit an arch shape by utilizing the vertically straight sections and an upper round section. A cover path made of non-woven and permeable material is provided over the arch to form the tunnel over the patch. A middle longitudinal region of the cover path has a transparent and wind sealed film (9). An independent claim is also included for a construction kit for setting up a plant tunnel.
