The present invention provides and oral dosage form comprising a granular phase and a non-granular phase, whereby said granular phase is comprised of a therapeutically effective amount of pharmaceutically active agent, a gas forming agent and a hydrophilic polymer. Such dosages are found to provide fast dissolution rates for ingredients having low solubility in water. In addition, the present invention provides a method of preparation thereof.
