The present invention provides a heat-resistance plant gene HSF1 and use thereof. The inventors of the present invention isolated for the first time a new heat-resistance gene from the plant of Brassica spp., which can greatly improve the heat-resistance ability of a plant. The present invention further provides a protein encoded by said gene and its preparation method, vectors and host cells containing said gene, and a method for preparing a transgenic plant containing said gene. The method also provides for a transgenic plant or comprising said gene.Cette invention concerne un gène végétal de résistance à la chaleur HSF1 et son utilisation. Les inventeurs de la présente ont isolé pour la première fois un nouveau gène de résistance à la chaleur à partir dune plante de la famille des Brassica spp., qui peut considérablement améliorer la capacité de résistance à la chaleur dune plante. Cette invention concerne, en outre, une protéine codée par ledit gène et son procédé de préparation, des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes contenant ledit gène, et un procédé de préparation dune plante transgénique contenant ledit gène. Le procédé concerne également une plante transgénique ou comprenant ledit gène.
