PURPOSE: An anticancer composition containing mango pericarp extract is provided to ensure apoptosis activity and to be used in treating cancer. CONSTITUTION: An anticancer composition contains 0.0001-2000ug/ml of mango pericarp extract as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated using ethanol. The extract induces apoptosis of liver cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, or solid cancer. The extract is obtained by freeze-dying pericarp and pulp of mango, extracting with a solvent, filtering, and compressing.본 발명은 망고 과피 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항암 조성물에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로, 망고 과피 추출물은 암세포 사멸 (apoptosis) 활성을 나타내므로, 본 발명의 망고 과피 추출물을 함유하는 조성물은 암질환의 치료를 위해 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.
