PURPOSE: A natural surfactant composition containing Prunella vulgaris L. extract is provided to ensure stability and to replace synthetic surfactant. CONSTITUTION: A natural surfactant composition contains 0.001-50 wt% of Prunella vulgaris L. extract. The extract is isolated using water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, glycerol, propylene glycol, or 1,3-butylene glycol. A cosmetic composition contains the extract. A cleansing composition contains the composition.
