Methods and compositions for treating disorders of the nail and nail bed. Suchcompositions do not form a film uponapplication to the surface of the nail and contain a vehicle in which allcomponents of the composition are dissolved, suspended,dispersed, or emulsified, a non-volatile solvent, a wetting agent, and apharmaceutically active ingredient that is soluble in the non--volatilesolvent and/or a mixture of the vehicle and the non-volatile solvent, andwhich composition is effective in treating a disorderof the nail or nail bed.
