Provided are herbicidal compositions comprising flazasulfuron and an inhibitor of protoporphyrinogen oxidase selected from a phenylpyrazole compound, a triazolinone compound, a N-phenylphthalimide compound, a pyrimidindione compound, an oxadiazole compound, an oxazolidinedione compound, a thiadiazole compound, pyraclonil, profluazol, flufenpyr-ethyl and their salts. Exemplified compositions include flazasulfuron in combination with pyraflufen-ethyl, cafentrazone-ethyl, saflufenacil, oxadiargyl, flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, pyraclonil, pentoxazone, fluthiacet-methyl, flufenpyr-ethyl and butafenacil.
