The medical examination support system includes: a display method definition section that stores a piece of definition information of specific characters and a piece of definition information of a display method of the specific characters while associating with each other an examination result input section that receives inputs of examination results made by the doctor a specific character determination section that determines whether the characters included in the examination result agree with the definition information of the specific character and an examination result display section that converts a display mode of the characters determined as the specific characters according to the definition information of the display method and displays the examination result.
