PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high branch pruning saw which largely reduces labor when pruning high branches of a tree and also the direction of the blade of which can be easily changed depending on the direction of a target high branch to be cut so as to facilitate pruning of the high branches in various situations.
SOLUTION: The high branch pruning saw includes: a shaft 10 a saw blade 20 a saw blade-driving means 30 for driving the saw blade 20 to rotate the blade a driving force transmission shaft connecting the saw blade 20 with the saw blade-driving means 30 inside the shaft 10 and a branch shaft 53 turning in conjunction with the driving force transmission shaft so as to switch the mounting position of the saw blade 20 between the tip end part of the driving power transmission shaft and the tip end part of the branch shaft 53 so that the direction of the saw blade 20 can be changed.
