PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten X-ray transparency of an electrode head of a bioelectrode such as an electrode for an electrocardiograph while it is adhered to a human body and the electrode head is fixed by a self-adhesive pad and only the self-adhesive pad can be disposable in single use.SOLUTION: The electrode 1 for an electrocardiograph includes an electrode body 10 and a self-adhesive pad 50, and the electrode head 40 of the electrode body 10 comprises a silver-silver chloride coating 41c which is formed by printing or coating on a carbon sheet 41. For an existing electrode of an electrocardiograph, a silver-plated layer on a resin substrate having a predetermined electrode shape leads to reflection on an X-ray image, but the electrode 1 for the electrocardiograph has no silver-plated layer, and it has the coating formed by printing or coating with the silver-silver chloride containing ink, and the result is that the reflection can be reduced.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】心電計用電極などの生体電極について、人体に貼り付けて電極ヘッドを固定する粘着パッドのみを単回使用で使い捨てることができる構成を基本としつつ電極ヘッドのレントゲン透過性を高める。【解決手段】心電計用電極1は電極本体10と粘着パッド50とを備えており、電極本体10の電極ヘッド40を、カーボンシート41に印刷又は塗布にて形成した銀-塩化銀塗膜41cを形成する。従来の心電計用電極では、所定の電極形状の樹脂基材に施した銀メッキ層がレントゲン写真に写り込む原因となっていたが、本発明の心電計用電極1には銀メッキ層がなく、銀-塩化銀含有インクの印刷又は塗布にて形成した塗膜としているので写り込みを少なくすることができる。【選択図】図2
