PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an absorber surely coated with an absorbent core by a core wrap sheet without generating a large wrinkle in the core wrap sheet.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an absorber includes making a suction force V3 in a core wrap sheet coating front area 403 as an area at a downstream side in a conveyance direction than a sheet conveyance direction change area 47, and an area where a portion in which an existence width of a formation material in an absorbent core 50 during conveyance is changed along the conveyance direction is to a position just before being coated for the first time with a core wrap sheet 51, higher than a suction force V4 in a core wrap sheet coating area 404 as an area where a portion in which an existence width of a formation material in the absorbent core 50 during conveyance is changed along the conveyance direction is at a downstream side after a position coated for the first time with the core wrap sheet 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
