PURPOSE: A natural cosmetic material of a Sanguisorbae radix root fraction is provided to substitute imported ingredients and to show reliability for consumers.CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains active ingredients of Sanguisorbae radix with antioxidation and anti-inflammation effects. SOB Fr-2 is measured to be 40% or greater in an active ingredient fraction of Sanguisorbae radix roots by electron donation ability. A chloroform layer (5.4 g), an ethyl acetate fraction (126.7 g), an n-butanol fraction (115.9 g), and a water fraction (149.9 g) are acquired from Sanguisorbae radix roots using the polarity difference of an acetone extract.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013오이풀에 대한 향균활성, 임상학적 연구는 많이 진행되었으나 미용학적 효과에 관한 보고는 없어 유용하게 활용되지 못하고 있으므로 본 연구를 통해 천연소재이면서 경제적인 기능성 화장품소재로 오이풀을 연구하였고, 오이풀 추출물의 유효성분을 분획하여 실험한 결과 항산화 항염효과가 우수하여 화장품소재로의 활용도가 높을것으로 사료된다.
