PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower which prevents drop of mowed lawn grasses from a grass collection case, when a collection case is detached from a body, and also prevents drop of the mowed lawn grasses, when the lawn grasses collected in the grass collection case are dumped into a dust bag.SOLUTION: A grass collection guide plate 7a turnably disposed on a turning shaft M in the lower part of a lawn grass collection port is controlled by the operation of a lever 12 disposed in the knob portion (knob 11) of a grass collection case 7, whereby the opening area of the lawn grass collection port can selectively be narrowed. When lawn grasses are mowed, the opening area is widened to smoothly collect the mowed lawn grasses into the grass collection case 7, and when the lawn grasses collected in the grass collection case are dumped, the grass collection guide plate 7a is upward tilted to narrow the opening area by the operation of the lever 12, thus preventing the drop of the grasses from the grass collection case 7.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本体から集草ケースを外す際に刈られた芝草が集草ケースからこぼれたり、集草ケースに捕集された芝草をごみ袋に捨てる際に芝草がこぼれたりしない芝刈機を実現する。【解決手段】集草ケース7の取手部(ノブ11)に設けられたレバー12の操作により、芝草捕集口下部の回動軸Mにて回動可能に設けた集草案内板7aを制御することで、芝草捕集口の開口面積を選択的に狭めることを可能とした。芝草刈込作業時には開口面積を広くして刈られた芝草の集草ケース7への捕集をスムーズにし、集草ケースに捕集された芝草を捨てる際には、レバー12の操作により集草案内板7aを上側に傾けて開口面積を狭くして集草ケース7からの芝草がこぼれるのを防止する。【選択図】図1
