PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper preventing fixing parts from rubbing a skin of a wearer, preventing the skin from getting red due to rubbing, and improving use feeling by providing the wearer, in wearing it, with security feeling capable of imaging a shape of the diaper after wearing.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1A includes: fastening members 6 extending from both sides 10s of an absorbent body 10 in a back-side area B to an X-direction outward and extension members 7 including one ends 71 that are fixed to a surface not facing the skin located outward with respect to a position at an X-directional center of the absorbent body 10 in a ventral area A, and the other ends 72 that are free ends. Each fastening member 6 includes a skin-side fastening material 63 on a skin-facing surface and a non-skin-side fastening material 64 on the surface not facing the skin. When the diaper 1A is worn, the extension members 7 and the fastening members 6 are fixed to each other into a shape of praying hands, via the skin-side fastening materials 63. The extension members 7 and the fastening members 6 fixed into the praying-hand shape are folded back to the back-side area B and fixed to the surface not facing the skin of the back-side area B of the absorbent body 10 via the non-skin-side fastening materials 64.
