The present invention relates to a multi-purpose UV sterilizer which can be easily carried around in an indoor or outdoor space, to conveniently sterilize various household articles and baby goods such as baby bottles, wherein a sterilization unit provided with an UV LED irradiating UV light, a storage battery, and a circuit unit, is coupled to an internal storage unit whose height can be adjusted as needed, wherein the internal storage unit is inserted into a storage unit and fixed at a desired height by a fixing button, to sterilize stored goods of various sizes. In order to pre-empt safety accidents that may transpire, the circuit unit is configured with circuits, such as a gyrosensor and a photoresistor, to prevent harmful UV rays from being directly irradiated to a human body. User convenience is enhanced by configuring a sterilization timer to automatically stop the operation of the sterilizing means after a set time has passed since a user operated a switch, and a speaker to notify, by a voice or a melody, that the UV sterilization is in operation.
