FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to reconstructive and restorative and thoracic surgery, and can be applied in replacement of circular defects of trachea. Method includes closing of defect with combined transplant, which consists of pericardial autotransplant and mesh implant. Preliminarily, in order to form combined transplant, mesh implant with cell size 200-500 mcm, woven from superelastic titanium nickelide thread with diameter 60-90 mcm, is placed on anterior and/or lateral surface of pericardium. It is fixed with non-penetrating into pericardium cavity sutures. After 3-4 week interval pericardial autotransplant is removed in a single complex of tissues with mesh implant. After that, from it formed is a rectangle on whose opposite edges pericardium tissue and implant are separated from each other along 10-12 mm. Free pericardium edge is turned in direction of mesh implant surface, obtaining duplicature. After that, unmobilised edges of combined transplant are matched with placement of serous membrane inwards transplant. Then, from the side of mesh implant uninterrupted suture is applied in such a way that tubular structure, corresponding to transverse size of trachea lumen, is obtained from it. Pericardium duplicature is grabbed on butt ends. Combined transplant is anastomised with edges of trachea defect.
