PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition exhibiting excellent controlling effects to noxious organisms.SOLUTION: A noxious organism control composition contains a tetrazolinone compound represented by the formula (1), where R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rrepresent substituents described in the specification, and one or more active ingredients selected from a group consisting of antimicrobial agents, insecticides, acaricides, phytotoxicity reducing agents and plant growth regulators. A method for controlling noxious organisms includes a step of applying the effective dose of the noxious organism control composition to plants (including corn, soybean, cotton, wheat, barley, beet, coleseed and rice) or a soil for cultivating the plants.
