The present invention relates to piperazine dithioctate, a novel addition salt of thioctic acid with a base and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same. The piperazine dithioctate according to the present invention has good thermal and moisture stability and high water-solubility as well as dosage increase lower than other addition salts, thereby being effectively used for preparing a pharmaceutical composition for antioxidation or for preventing or treating diabetic polyneuropathy, etc.本発明は、チオクト酸の新規塩基性付加塩であるピペラジンジチオクト酸塩及びこれを含む薬剤学的組成物に関する。本発明に係るピペラジンジチオクト酸塩は、熱と水分に対する安定性と水溶液に対する溶解度が優れるだけでなく、付加塩の製造に伴う投与量の増加が小さいため、抗酸化又は糖尿病性多発性神経炎の予防若しくは治療等のための薬剤学的組成物に効果的に使用することができる。
