PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal type candy that has a feeling of coldness and coolness and continuing feeling of foaming, is more various than ever before and has a new texture.

SOLUTION: The crystal type candy comprises xylitol and another sugar alcohol and contains 10-30 wt.% of a foamable component and 0.001-5 wt.% of a polysaccharide having an average molecular weight of &ge200,000. Preferably the polysaccharide having an average molecular weight of &ge200,000 is hyaluronic acid and/or polyglutamic acid and/or xanthan gum. The foamable component is a combination of an organic acid and a carbonate and/or a hydrogen carbonate.
