At least one endless series of mutually connected holders (3) function to pick-up and deliver a separately supplied product (4). Flexible strips (7) move with the holders to guide the products into a discharge station. A strip transfer arrangement (84) displaces a flexible strip from the carrying face (68) of a following holder to the bottom side of this holder. The transfer arrangement includes (for each strip) a tilting guide (85) disposed at the reversing location (67) of a flexible member (20) formed by the holders.
