PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device for restraining a cord of an electric product installed in a cage for breeding birds and small animals in a state in which the cord passes through a through hole, and a cage provided with the closing device.SOLUTION: A closing device 90 of a through hole includes a cover plate 91 that closes the through hole through which a plugged electric cord 100 drilled in a plate body passes such that the unclosed portion 97 is not closed, and restrains a portion of a cord 102 of the plugged electric cord 100 in the unclosed portion 97.
