PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ottoman and a massage machine having the same which can easily give a desirable massage feeling to a foot and transmit heat to the foot.SOLUTION: An ottoman 100 comprises a footrest 130 capable of supporting a foot and a bar 170 for pressing a sole while protruding from a top surface 131 of the footrest 130. The ottoman 100 also includes an actuator for displacing the bar 170 with respect to the top surface 131 and a heater 180 disposed at a portion of the top surface 131 on the front side from the bar 170.
