The support (23) has fixed and mobile jaws (25, 26) defining a housing (27) to receive a fishing rod (21). The mobile jaw is movable between an opening position, in which the mobile jaw is separated from the fixed jaw to allow introduction/extraction of the rod into/from the housing, and a closed position in which the rod is locked in the housing. An inner contour of the housing has inclined surfaces relative to an axis of the housing.
