The present invention relates to a liquid composition comprising alginic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and colloidal polysaccharide, which is suitable as a medical biomaterial for tissue repair used to raise mucosal tissues when the mucosal tissues such as stomach or intestine are excised by an endoscope. More specifically, the present invention relates to a medicinal composition for medical use, intended to be injected in a submucosal layer in an endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or an endoscopic submucosal dissolution (ESD). To this end, the liquid composition contains alginic acid whose weight average molecular weight is greater than or equal to 100,000 and less than 200,000 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in addition to colloidal polysaccharide.
