The present invention provides a header of a combine harvester. The header of a combine harvester comprises a dustpan shaped header rack (11) a cutter (13) at an opening of a dustpan a reel (12) at a front top a header auger (15) at a back inside the dustpan a reel stay rod (12A) that stretches across a frame and is supported at a back top of the frame and a header drive mechanism for transmitting power to the components. Power of the cutter (13) is input from a left side of a carrier drive shaft (161a) that is horizontally arranged at a back side of the dustpan shaped frame. Power of the header auger (15) and the reel (12) is input from a right side of a reel drive shaft (129b) that is installed inside the reel stay rod. A part of a drive structure of the present invention is arranged on a left side of the header which is beneficial to a balance of left and right relative to prior art and also beneficial to damping and noise reduction. In addition carrier drive uses a crank link mechanism to replace a swinging ring structure in prior art. A structure is simple a cost is low and maintenance is convenient.
