PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a lesion by easily and surely performing connection along an axial direction without overlap in a radial direction when indwelling a plurality of stents.SOLUTION: A stent 10 is formed in a roughly cylindrical shape having many openings, distal end first peak parts 12 turned to a distal end direction and distal end second peak parts 14 turned to a proximal end direction are alternately provided along a circumferential direction on the distal end 10a thereof, and the distal end first peak part 12 turned to the distal end direction is provided with a first contrast marker 18 composed of an X-ray contrast material. Also, on a proximal end 10b of the stent 10, proximal end first peak parts 20 turned to the distal end direction and proximal end second peak parts 22 turned to the proximal end direction are alternately provided along the circumferential direction similarly to the distal end 10a, and the proximal end first peak part 20 turned to the distal end direction is provided with a second contrast marker 26 composed of the X-ray contrast material. Then, when connecting two stents 10, the first contrast marker 18 of the stent 10 to be connected is brought closer to the second contrast marker 26 of the stent 10 indwelled beforehand along an axial direction so as to be on one straight line, and the stents 10 are connected with each other.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】複数のステントを留置する際に、径方向に重複させることなく、且つ、軸方向に沿って容易且つ確実に連結して病変部を拡張させる。【解決手段】ステント10は、多数の開口を有した略円筒形状に形成され、その先端10aには、周方向に沿って交互に先端方向を向く先端第1頂部12と基端方向を向く先端第2頂部14とを有し、先端方向を向く前記先端第1頂部12には、X線造影性材料からなる第1造影マーカー18が設けられる。また、ステント10の基端10bには、先端10aと同様に周方向に沿って交互に先端方向を向く基端第1頂部20と基端方向を向く基端第2頂部22とを有し、先端方向を向く前記基端第1頂部20には、X線造影性材料からなる第2造影マーカー26が設けられる。そして、2つのステント10を連結する際、予め留置されているステント10の第2造影マーカー26に対して、連結するステント10の第1造影マーカー18を一直線上となるように軸方向に沿って接近させ、前記ステント10同士を連結する。【選択図】図2
