The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating cancer which becomes resistant to target anti-cancer agents. The composition includes a 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid compound or a derivative thereof which can specifically inhibit cancer cells exhibiting resistance to an anti-cancer agent targeting receptor tyrosine kinase.
