The present invention relates to a feed additive for livestock containing ginko leave by-products as an effective component, and a use thereof. According to the present invention, a ginkgo leaf by-product, which is feed additives for livestock is produced after methanol is extracted from ginkgo leaf, is not used before, but contains a lot of components such as coarse protein, coarse fat, coarse fiber, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and acid detergent fiber (ADF), and is proven that effective components are contained in antioxidation activity and ginkgo leaf by-product digestive fluid reactions. Accordingly, when the ginkgo leaf by-product which is a by-product of a ginkgo leaf methanol extract is used, waste can be reduced. Moreover, since intake of the ginkgo leaf by-product can exhibit an effective value sufficient as the feed additives for livestock, the ginkgo leaf by-product can be usefully used as the feed additives for livestock in future.
