The present invention relates to a water supply nipple having a position control type protective cover, and, more specifically, to a water supply nipple having a position control type protective cover in which a protective cover moving up and down while being inserted into a water supply pipe body surrounds a nipple body so as to gradually control the use of a cock upon the frequency of the water supply nipple equipped on a pipe for water supply and to improve the water supply efficiency.
