An intraocular implant injection assembly is disclosed, which includes ahousing arranged along a longitudinal axis, the housing including a forwardportion and arearward portion, a syringe, positionable along the longitudinal axis in therearward portion ofthe housing, an intraocular implant positioning subassembly, positioned alongthe longitudinalaxis in the forward portion of the housing, an intraocular implant mounted inthe intraocularimplant positioning subassembly and an intraocular implant displacer. Theintraocularimplant displacer is operative to displace the intraocular implant rearwardlyalong thelongitudinal axis relative to the positioning subassembly into the syringewhen the positioningsubassembly is forwardly displaced relative to the housing by the syringe inresponse to a userdisplacing the syringe forwardly within the housing.
